Welcome to the Westminster Explained website. Westminster Explained provides a wide range of training courses designed to meet learning and development needs across the public sector.

Westminster Explained is the training branch of The House Magazine, the weekly magazine for the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
All of our core programmes are designed to meet the specific learning needs of the public sector. The aim of Westminster Explained is to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the subject, as well as the skills to apply that knowledge practically in the workplace.
In addition to our core programme we offer a series of certificated courses. Lifelong learning is key to successful career development, and our long courses are designed to offer delegates the chance to build on their skills, gain advice from experts, and interact with others.
Westminster Explained also produces a number of conferences in partnership with a variety of publications and organisations, complimenting our core programme.
