Courses are held throughout the year.
The Certificate in Public Sector Delivery is an in-depth training programme aimed at providing a thorough understanding of the key skills and best practices needed to develop policies and manage processes, which will ensure effective public sector delivery. The structure of this training course/certificate will be a series of six core modules, with a further three elective modules run over a period of nine months.The course will be assessed initially by internal assessors, then by external assessors and finally by an Award Board. The successful candidate will be awarded the Certificate in Public Sector Delivery. The approach will be to follow a policy storyline from conception to delivery.

The Certificate in Managerial Skills is a modular course organised by Westminster Explained for middle level managers in the public sector. The course will equip managers with the core skills which they need in their workplace. It will help them to operate more effectively in the discharge of their current managerial responsibilities. It will also help them to develop professionally for their own futures, and that of their teams, Departments or organisations. The course will also respond to some of the needs identified in the current Professional Skills for Government agenda.The course comprises eight modules, chosen from a possible ten options. The trainees who attend the course can choose those options which they think will be of most immediate benefit to them and those which will benefit them most in their career development plans. Skills needs identified in recent or forthcoming appraisals can be incorporated as appropriate into their choices.

The Certificate in Core Skills for Executive & Administrative Officers is a professional training programme specifically designed to develop the core skills of all Executive and Administrative Officers working within the Civil Service.By the end of the course trainees will be equipped with the essential skills they need to fully carry out their duties within the Civil Service. It will give new entrants into the Civil Service the confidence and ability to carry out their work effectively. The course will also offer EO/AOs a chance to network with one another, build up contacts in other Government Departments, and discuss the priorities and emerging trends in the Civil Service.
The course consists of 6 modules covering all core topics and skills required for effective working in the Civil Service. After trainees have completed their modules, they will then be set assessments and tests linked to the work that they have covered.

The Certificate in Campaigning is a modular course organised by Westminster Explained and the Campaigning Effectiveness Programme for campaigners from charities of all sizes. It aims to improve delegates' skills in areas such as planning, delivery, evaluation and strategic thinking. The learning undertaken through this course will be directly focused on producing 'high impact' effective campaigning at all levels of an organisation.Offering a formal and recognized accreditation to campaigners, it will provide an integrated mix of theory and campaigning practice. The outcomes from the course will be that participants will understand the aims and objectives of campaigning and be able to strengthen the ways in which campaigns are conceived, managed and integrated within their organisational plans on a wider scale. Furthermore, they will fully appreciate the issues of voluntary sector organisations' independence, legitimacy, accountability and credibility and will benefit from enhanced campaigning leadership and improved capacity for innovation.
