Summarising Documents Quickly and Accurately
Information overload drastically affects the efficiency and effectiveness of an organisation but it is a problem that is all too common. Many people find it difficult to extract the key facts and opinions from a document and then reproduce them accurately. With the current Government focus on getting ‘more for less’ there is going to be a greater volume of documentation to handle by fewer people. This means that understanding how to disassemble and summarise a document quickly and effectively is now a critical skill for all civil servants.
The course will provide participants with the skills needed to rapidly summarise all types of documents.
