International Training, Seminars and Visits

Westminster Explained offers international clients a comprehensive range of seminar and visit packages. Whether the client group needs to study Parliament or government, public administration, policy making, the European Union, International Courts, human rights, communications, or a subject entirely of their own, we can meet the need.

The Logistics

We can arrange for delegations to be met on arrival in the United Kingdom and provide transport to central London from the airport. We book only high-quality hotels and seminar facilities. These can be in London, or in any other area which delegates wish to visit or to be based in during their stay here.

We are able to call on the services of experts here in the UK to deliver high-quality training to suit different subject areas, or alternatively we can deliver training in delegates’ own country, if that is the preferred option. In the UK, as well as the seminar programme itself, we can arrange meetings, provide tours and offer a wide selection of cultural visits.

Our Services

Our dedicated team of production specialists will liaise with you before your arrival to ensure that the programme meets your specific needs. We will work with you, refining the agendas for scope and content until you are satisfied that we are organising exactly what you need.

A member of our team will be dedicated to providing logistical and information support during your stay. We will also be on hand to co-ordinate visits and meetings.

Our Experience

We have recently trained staff from the Afghan Parliament who were with us for a two-week programme of finance seminars and cultural visits, as well as delegations from Vietnam, and a delegation of Members of Parliament from Azerbaijan.

We have also recently designed:

• A week-long programme of high-level visits and meetings for visiting MPs from the Caucasus.
• A two-week long programme of seminars on Parliament and local government for MPs from West Africa.
• A two-week long programme of seminars on the legislative process for MPs from West Africa.
• A week-long programme of seminars and visits for clerks from a mix of Caucasian states.
